Our Vision
Squeaky Wheel Theatre Group was created with the hope of making an inclusive and accepting artistic environment that is unafraid to be loud, push boundaries, and challenge both artists and audiences alike.
We feel that theatre and theatre education should be accessible to everyone and strive to keep ticket and workshop prices at a level that both allows us to continue our work while not making attendance an undue hardship.

Megan is a long time wanderer that finally put down roots in Southwest Florida, where she grew up. She has been involved in the arts her entire life and spent 8 years traveling the country as a theatre technician, props artist, and stage manager.
Past theatre credits include seasons with Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts, Barter Theatre in Virginia, Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine, Riverside Theatre in Florida, to name a few. She has been involved with hundreds of shows over the years but some favorites are Red Velvet, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hamlet, and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story.
Megan is a passionate advocate for the arts and wants to create a safe and equitable platform for artists of all sorts to hone their craft.
In her free time, Megan is an excellent baker and video game nerd.

Kristofer Geddie, a North Carolina native, trekked to Florida from New York city to play “Coalhouse Walker” in Ragtime at Venice Theatre, and never left. He is now the Executive Director for the organization.
Kris holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Mars Hill University, is currently enrolled in graduate school at Goucher College for a Masters in Arts Administration and has been seen numerous times on stage at Venice Theatre. Kris has also had the privilege of directing several shows in Florida. Prior to coming to Venice, Kris had been seen performing on stages around the world. Some other favorite theatrical experiences include; cruising the world as a 5-year Company Manager and Principle Singer for Jean Ann Ryan Productions on Norwegian Cruise Line; Twelfth Night; The Secret Garden; the premiere of the one-man show Bert Williams, Broadway Star; Angels in America; Dreamgirls; and hanging quite a few times as “Judas” in Jesus Christ Superstar.
In addition to Kris’ duties at Venice Theatre, he serves on the Ambassador Circle for Embracing our Differences, is the treasurer of the Florida Theatre Conference, the Florida State community theatre representative and is thrilled to serve as a Board Member of the Friends of the Venice Public Library and American Association of Community Theatre.
When that stuff is done for the day, Kris likes to cook, collect cookbooks and African American Memorabilia.

Tay has been involved in music and theatre for as long as she can remember.
She has several years of community theatre experience both onstage and off as a crew member, ensemble performer, and assistant box office manager. She met Megan, Kristofer, and Steve while doing one or more of those things at Venice Theatre.
She also happens to be a software implementation engineer with a B.A. in English, which turns out to be more useful for the arts than you might expect.
