Squeaky Wheel Projects
We're more than just a festival!
Take a look at some of our other projects that not only keep artists in the spotlight but keep the arts accessible to all.

The Creative Challenge
A non-genre specific exhibition where participating artists (both visual & performance) receive a single prompt and get to showcase their artistic response to it.
The Shop
We've partnered with our friends at The Fabulous Arts Foundation to bring you The Shop, a gathering on the 1st Monday of each month where artists of all genres and mediums can share what they're working on, get feedback, and discuss artistic questions, ideas, & works in progress.

Suncoast Remake Learning Days

We're participating with The Patterson Foundation's Suncoast Remake Learning Days with our Build-A-Play Workshop. A hands-on creative experience designed for children and their families. Children work together to imagine and create their own original play through guided storytelling. We will explore design elements such as costumes, lighting, scenery, and more to bring their ideas to life. The workshop encourages creativity, cooperation, and self-expression in a nurturing, age-appropriate environment, and concludes with a short performance that celebrates participant’s imagination and effort. The event on April 25th is geared towards families with children aged Pre-K to 7 and the event on April 26th is for families with children aged 8 to 14.
Kids Fringe
This May we are thrilled to be offering Sarasota its very first Kids Fringe. A weekend-long performing arts event geared towards the 18 and under crowd. Stay tuned for more information on this unique event!
